Registered Clinical Counsellors (RCCs) are accountable for ethical practices under BCACC's standards of practice and code of ethics, and every member must have a clean criminal record check. This accountability gives peace of mind for those wanting to feel secure when they enter into a professional counselling relationship.
Every person who receives the ‘RCC’ counselling designation in British Columbia has met specific educational and training criteria required by the BCACC. RCCs have earned a minimum of a Master’s Degree and have additional training in their specific area of practice. They have also satisfied the BCACC’s clinical supervision requirements that are criteria of membership.

I hold a Bachelor of Music degree in vocal performance from the University of Alberta and a Masters degree in counselling psychology from Athabasca University. I have been married for 23 years and I am a mom to two teens and one young adult.

I appreciate the beauty of nature, the power of music, and the companionship of dogs and other furry creatures.

I have worked with children, youth, and adults as a clinical counsellor in community-based and private practice clinics.
