Every person who receives the ‘RCC’ counselling designation in British Columbia has met specific educational and training criteria required by the BCACC. RCCs have earned a minimum of a Master’s Degree and have additional training in their specific area of practice. They have also satisfied the BCACC’s clinical supervision requirements that are criteria of membership.

I completed a Bachelor of Music degree in vocal performance from the University of Alberta and a Master’s degree in counselling psychology from Athabasca University. I offer a blend of compassion, creativity, and life-experience to my work as a registered clinical counsellor.

I have had the privilege of supporting children, youth, and adults in both community and private practice clinical counselling settings. Previously, I worked as a behavior interventionist in the autism intervention program at OSNS in Penticton. I taught music in schools and provided private group and individual lessons in voice, piano, and musical theatre for many years.

I have been a mom for 22 years and married for 25 years, which gives me a deep understanding of the complexities of family life and the challenges we face at different stages. Having navigated life’s ups and downs with resilience and hope, I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their own experiences and uncover their strengths.
